2-Wire Temperature Sensor

The TEMP2WIR is an analog, loop powered 4 to 20mA temperature transmitter suitable for monitoring oil temperatures in industrial environments. It’s range is 0 to 150 °C. Sensing electronics is fitted into a robust cast iron housing, with brass encasement of the sensing transducer for fast and accurate heat transfer.

Applications

This unit was originally designed to monitor gear box oil temperatures in industrial environments. The brass and cast iron housing, make it suitable for use in coal mines and other harsh environments. It may be used to monitor any non-corrosive liquid, such as water, cooling oil or hydraulic oil.
