The Ringline 4-channel Time-Delay Transmitter (RLTX4PTD) is designed to monitor limit switches in various processes where a time controlled response to a switch operation is desired.

Typical applications include drift switch monitoring and blocked chute switch monitoring on conveyors. The transmitter is capable of monitoring up to two switch inputs and provides a unique failsafe output in the Ringline system for each input. This means that time-delay inputs can be included in the safety function of the Ringline system and benefit from its high integrity safety features; a level of safety that cannot be achieved by standard monitoring in a PLC.
